Pakistan will kickstart their 2023 World Cup journey against Netherlands at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, from 02:00 pm 6th OCT. However, the toss will take place at 01:30 pm.
This will be the second match of Pakistan in Hyderabad as the team led by Babar Azam participated in a warm-up match with Australia, which Pakistan lost by six overs to spare after posting 345 against New Zealand, before conceding 351 against Australia.
The pitch at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium is expected to be a batsmen friendly surface the wicket here is considered to be a flat track, which tends to slow down as the game progresses. The average first inning total at this stadium is 291 runs.
