Pakistan and South Africa will face each other in the 26th match of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 on Friday, October 27. This will be the sixth match for both the teams and they’ll be playing at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The match will start at 2:00 pm IST.
Pakistan has lost three matches out of the five matches it has played this season and currently ranks sixth whereas South Africa has proved to be a strong contender in the World Cup with four wins and currently ranks second.
The MA Chidambaram Stadium where the match will take place is a well-balanced ground that gives ample support to both batters and bowlers. However, the ground is a little more favourable for spinners as sometimes batting here proves to be a little difficult as seen in previous ODI matches.
The weather in Chennai is expected to be humid with the possibility of rain. There will be intervals of clouds and sunshine throughout the day with the maximum temperature at 32 degrees Celcius in noon and with minimum temperature hovering at 27 degrees Celcius. The rain might act as a spoilsport if it showers while the match is ongoing.
