Pakistani bowlers failed to scalp wickets in the first 20 overs. As the match proceeded the pitch started to get slower. The opening pair of Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran added 130 runs for the first wicket. Both batters reached their respective half-centuries in the process before the Gurbaz was dismissed by Shaheen Shah Afridi.Rahmat Shah (77) and Captain Hashmatullah Shahidi (48) took the innings further writting the script of yet another win for Afganistan.
