Tom Latham, the captain of New Zealand, won the toss and elected to bowl first. Tim Southee, a pacer, will take Lockie Ferguson's place in the starting XI, the captain revealed. Tabraiz Shamsi will bat first for South Africa, who has replaced Kagiso Rabada.
