India's star batter Virat Kohli was seen bowling in the practice session ahead of the upcoming much-awaited match against England in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.  As 'Men in Blue' continues to gear up for the clash against the defending champions, King Kohli and other batters were seen bowling in the nets. The injury of allrounder Hardik Pandya forced the Indian team to look for an extra bowling option.

Along with India's quality bowling line-up which includes veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav, the batters Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav, and Kohli also bowled a few deliveries on net.

On Wednesday, the Indian contingent reached Lucknow to play their sixth game of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Rohit Sharma's men are riding high in confidence as they are the only unbeaten team in the ongoing ICC's top event. India currently holds the top spot in the points table with 10 points with an excellent net run rate of +1.353.

India won its first match in the past 20 years against New Zealand in the previous encounter.  Rohit Sharma's side was off to a good start, reducing New Zealand to 19/2 in powerplay.
