World Cup 2023 IND vs NZ: Team India reaches Mumbai ahead of semis clash against NZ

Riding high on confidence, the 'Men in Blue' arrived in Mumbai ahead of the semi-final clash against New Zealand in the ICC Cricket  World Cup 2023 on Wednesday.

Rohit's man continued their unbeaten record in the league round after a tumping 160-run victory over the Netherlands in the ongoing tournament. Hundreds of fans gathered outside the airport, as the members of the Indian cricket team walked out of the terminal.  

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, and India head coach Rahul Dravid were seen walking towards the bus.

India's performance so far

With impeccable team performance, India has been unbeatable in the tournament, and they lock horns against the Kiwi squad in the semis. New Zealand has been an arch nemesis for the Indian team, especially in ICC's knockout matches. India will be eyeing to rewrite the record books, as India secures a victory in the group stage match. 

Notably, New Zealand knocked out India in the semis of the World Cup 2019 and finals of the ICC World Test Championship 2019-21.

The Kiwis finished fourth in the group stage, knocking Pakistan and Afghanistan out of the competition.
