'Hitman' smashed 47 runs off 29 deliveries including four boundaries and four maximums in the highly anticipated match as India is eyeing to recover from the knockout woes in ICC tournaments against the Blackcaps.
The opening duo, Rohit-Shubman has scored 71 runs in 8.2 overs. India's stalwart batter Virat Kohli has joined in the middle with Shubman Gill. India has scored 84 runs in the first mandatory powerplay.
