India will take on five-time champions Australia in the final clash of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday. India will be eying to end the long ICC trophy drought in the finals. With finals scheduled on November 19, a pertinent question that comes into everyone's mind is who should be selected to open the bowling attack against mighty Australia. 

India eyes to Avenge

As India is the host of the top ICC event, the final presents a chance for India to advantage of the situation to lift the trophy for the third time and avenge the heartbreaking loss to the Kangaroo side in the 2003 final and 2015 semi-final of Cricket World Cup.

Sensational pacers 

Indian pacers and spinners have been sensational in the tournament so far. Irrespective of the fact, whether restricting the batters to a below-par score in the first innings or destroying the opponent's batting lineup in the chase. The volatile situation provokes the question, will India change their bowling lineup, will India continue with their same formidable bowling lineup? Bumrah vs Warner

Indian ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah has troubled David Warner in the past. In 14 innings, Bumrah conceded 117 runs in 130 deliveries and failed to dismiss the batter. While the Australian batter smashed 16 fours against Bumrah.

On the other hand, Bumrah has played in three innings against Travis Head conceding 14 runs in 12 balls, with two fours.

Shami's dream run

However, Indian speedster Mohammed Shami has bowled 52 deliveries to left-arm batters. He has conceded just 32 runs against them. Shami had dismissed eight left-hander batters out of 23 dismissals in the tournament so far.
