Former Indian cricketer and eminent commentator Ravi Shastri termed India as the favorite to win the World Cup 2023. He also said that 'Men in Blue ' have to continue playing the same way they did in the previous two games to win the title.

Talking to the media, Shastri said, "India will win the World Cup. They will start playing in the World Cup final as the favorites. They don't have to do anything different, they just have to continue what they are doing in the last two games. I want the team to be composed and calm, and handle the pressure. Every Indian cricketer is performing well in the tournament which is a great sign".

Unbeatable India

Rohit's men are the only unbeaten side in the tournament as it defeated the arch-nemesis New Zealand in a nail-biter clash. Indian teams have outperformed Kiwis in every department. The top 4 of India are scoring runs at a brisk rate while pacers have proved to be nightmares for the opponents.

Mighty Australia in finals

On the other hand, Australia's stellar performance secured their spot in the finals for a record eighth time in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Cummin's men defeated South Africa in the second semi-final by three wickets. India and Australia will lock horns at Narendra Modi at Ahmedabad on Sunday. India will be eyeing to take its revenge for 2003 and 2015's World Cup, where Australia handed defeats in the Finals and semi-final, respectively.
