Facing criticism following celebration

Despite facing criticism for her twerk celebration, Newman remains unfazed. "My friends, family, coaches, and agents are the only opinions I care about," she said. "I have a strong mindset, and I don’t let negativity from strangers affect me. People don’t understand what it’s like to be in my shoes."
