Indian ace javelin thrower and Olympic gold medalist, Neeraj Chopra answered some interesting questions about his life. The former world champion was speaking at Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Innovation Lab's Leaders Meet India in Bengaluru.

Answering a radio fire question at the event, Neeraj revealed what he would have been if not a sportsperson. 

The first thing that comes to Neeraj's mind when he sees Bengaluru, Neeraj says, "I have trained here in 2016-17, I remember it. It was really good." In terms of cricket, Neeraj claimed to be proficient at both bowling and batting, though he prefers to do Bhatta (throwing) style of bowling.

Neeraj said, "I can bat well. I can also bowl some good Bhatta (throw) balls if asked to."

Who is Neeraj Chopra's idol?

Neeraj said that the world record-holding javelin thrower Jan Zelezny is his inspiration. With a throw of 98.48 meters, he is an athlete from the Czech Republic who currently holds the record for the best men's javelin throw. He is an Olympic and world champion as well.

Answering about his favorite sports, the 25-year-old said, "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag". The movie is based on the life of legendary Indian sprinter Milkha Singh and was released in 2013.

What if Neeraj hadn't become a sportsman?

Neeraj spoke on his career choices if he hadn't become a sportsman, saying, "I really enjoy photography. I enjoy taking photos everywhere I go." He also mentioned that he likes Shreyas Iyer's clothes and sneakers. 

Golden Boy's dream run

The 'Golden Boy' Neeraj clinched gold medal at the Asian Games with his compatriot Kishore Kumar Jena secured a silver medal at the Hangzhou Olympic Stadium on October 4.  

Earlier in August, Neeraj secured Indai's first-ever gold at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
