India had a strong start in the final match of the Super Four against Bangladesh, dismissing their top-order batsmen early in the game. India won the toss and decided to bowl first in Colombo.

The ‘Men in Blue’ have already qualified for the final of the Asia Cup 2023. The team management has rested the key players, including Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.

In the world of cricket, Virat Kohli is not only known for his exceptional batting skills on the field but also for his offbeat actions and sense of humor. Even when he’s not part of the playing XI, he never misses an opportunity to bring some laughter to the game. In a recent incident during the Asia Cup 2023 Super Four match between India and Bangladesh, Kohli, who was rested for the game, took on the role of a water boy for his team.

During the match, after the dismissal of Anamul Haque, Kohli sprinted onto the field with water for his teammates. However, it was not just his helpful gesture that caught everyone’s attention, it was his unique running style that left fans in splits. Despite not being in the starting eleven, Kohli’s presence added an element of entertainment to the game.

The match got off to an electrifying start for India thanks to the exceptional performances of Mohammed Shami, Shardul Thakur and Axar Patel, who secured early breakthroughs.

Tilak Verma made his ODI debut, while Mohammed Shami, Shardul Thakur, Prasidh Krishna, and Suryakumar Yadav are in the playing XI against Bangladesh. The middle order’s star batsman, Shreyas Iyer, missed the third consecutive game in the ongoing tournament. The BCCI said he “has shown improvement but is not yet fully fit”.
