When we say cricket, we hear Virat Kohli in return as he is the sensation of today’s cricket. Kohli is indeed a batting great. From his unbelievable shots to his looks, he nails everything he does. There is hardly anything in batting that Virat Kohli can not do. So, it’s obvious that bowlers across the world are always eager to claim their wickets. The ones who bowled to him know that it’s difficult to get a wicket from the Indian great. But, former Pakistani fast bowler Rana Naved-ul-Hasan thinks otherwise. He claimed that he would have got Virat Kohli out easily if he had been in his ‘old rhythm.’

Rana’s remarks come after Virat Kohli was compared to Babar Azam.

Rana Naved-ul-Hasan’s remarks on Virat Kohli

In YouTuber Nadil Ali’s podcast, the ex-bowler said, “Whenever we compare Babar Azam with Virat Kohli, I always say Babar is more technically sound than Kohli, and this is why he fails less. Kohli struggled recently for a year or year and a half because he is a bottom-handed player, and when such players fail it lasts longer.”

“Babar is technically sounder and plays within his limits, though he doesn’t have as many shots as Kohli has,” Rana claimed.

“If I was in my old rhythm, then I can get Kohli out easily. I had good outswing so I would have gotten him caught at slips or the wicketkeeper,” he added while speaking at the podcast.

Currently, Virat Kohli is playing the two-match Test series against West Indies. In the first Test, he scored 76 runs in his only innings. The second and final game of the series is set to start on July 20 in Trinidad.
