Fabian Otte has been announced to be the head of goalkeeping for the U.S. Mens National Team by The U.S. Soccer Federation. He is currently in the German Bunfesliga serving as the goalkeeping coach at Borussia Mönchengladbach. He will soon become a part of USMNT alongside head coach Gregg Berhalter. Currently, Ottes work visa is pending but he will be joining USMNT this summer. Additionally, he will be given the task of developing the goalkeeping pathway throughout the Mens Youth National Teams. He has global experience as just in the past 10 years he has worked in five countries spread throughout three continents. From 2018 to 2020 he fulfilled the role of a goalkeeping coach for the U-23 team of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. From there joined Burnley in the English Premier League as the Assistant Goalkeeper Coach. Back in 2017, Otte was the coaching educator and lecturer for the Oceania Football Confederation and the German Football Association (DFB).Apart from having obtained a UEFA Goalkeeping A License, Fabian Otte has completed a BS in Sports Management with Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina State University. Then he went on to earn a Masters Degree in International Marketing from the Newcastle University Business School.
