The Indian team finished the sprint with a timing of 3:01.58s to walk away with another gold in the day.Qatar secured the second spot with their season-best timing of 3:02.05s. While the rest were merely competing for the bronze medal finish.Kishore Jenna gave neck-to-neck competition to the defending champion as the India duo attempted for gold, however, in the end, it was Neeraj Chopra who prevailed with his season best of 88.88. Meanwhile, Jena showed his mettle in the event to clinch a silver medal after much competition with Neeraj with his season-best throw of 87.54m and also qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024.This is the 18th gold in the ongoing Asian Games for India.
