This is the first medal in tennis from this edition of the Asian Games. Earlier, India had won three medals in the 18th edition of the Asian Games in Indonesia.Ramkumar Ramanathan said after the game, “It is my first Asian Games medal, I always wanted to win a medal for India. It was one of my goals, and that too coming with Saki (Saketh), very happy about it”.Saketh Myneni, said after securing silver in the game, “Its a privilege to play for a country and wear the tri-color and compete. I think very few times we do that in a year. So its a great competition, a great event. So glad we could make a contribution”.
