In conjunction with his international event series “Around the World with Roger Federer,” tennis legend Roger Federer paid a visit to London. He enjoyed some excellent Parsi-Indian food in London at the King’s Cross restaurant, Dishoom.

More on the cafe

Dishoom is a modern reinterpretation of the Irani cafes that dotted Bombay in the 1960s. It is a mash-up of cultures that aims to welcome everyone. A joyous and diverse social hub where not just Indians but people from across the city of London come down to relish their food.

Roger’s wishes

Roger Federer expressed interest in trying more such English breakfasts with a desi twist as well as trying his hand at creating some bread in the restaurant’s kitchen. The standard sausages, bacon, beans, and grilled tomatoes were included in the meal, along with scrambled eggs and buttered bread on the side. Federer drank chai while he ate breakfast.

On a fan page, a clip from his visit to Dishoom was posted. On YouTube, you can watch the complete episode of his trip to London for UIQLO’s “Around the World with Roger Federer.”
