The hero of the bilateral T20 series between India and Australia, Ravi Bishnoi has achieved his career-best rankings by grabbing the top spot in the latest MRF Tyres ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings on Wednesday. The 23-year-old was the 'Player of the Series' during India's successful 4-1 series win against Aussies. The Indians dominated the latest listing as youngster Shubman Gill retained the top spot in the ODI batting rankings. 

How Ravi Bishnoi became No.1 T20 bowler?

In the recently concluded series against Australia, Bishnoi scalped nine wickets in his five outings. Interstingly, Bishnoi made his international debut at the start of last year and the consistent performances for his country has propelled him to achieve the feat.

Bishnoi pushed Rashid Khan to second position to claim the top spot. Meanwhile, England's mystery spinner Adil Rashid and Sri Lankan star Wanindu Hasaranga leveled in the third position. On the other hand, Maheesh Theekshana slipped to fifth place. While Indian left spinner Axar Patel jumped 16 places to 11th position.

What is T20 ranking of Yashasvi Jaiswal?

Meanwhile, Yashasvi Jaiswal was the biggest gainer in the recent ICC T20 batters rankings. He jumped 16 places to 19th position. Meanwhile, the imapacful performance of Aussie opener Travis Head, during the five-match T20I series against India secured him 29th place in the latest rankings.

Who holds No.1 position in ODI players' rankings?

In ODI rankings, South Africa's Keshav Maharaj in bowling and India's Shubman Gill in batting are holding the top spot despite a few adjustments after the West Indies and England series opener in the Caribbean.

After hitting his 16th ODI century in Antigua, West Indies captain Shai Hope moves up four slots to 11th on the list of ODI batsmen, while compatriot Brandon King moves up six spaces to 78th.
