Sports News. Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson set a new record in IPL history. Samson holds the record for most wins as captain of Rajasthan Royals in IPL. In this way, he surpassed the great 'late' Shane Warne. Shane Warne had 31 wins in 55 matches, while Samson has so far made a record of 32 wins in 62 matches after his team's victory over Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Saturday.

Sanju Samson expressed happiness

Rajasthan Royals batted first in this match and scored 205 runs, which was their second-highest score this season (highest team score so far in Mullanpur). Expressing happiness over his team's success, Sanju Samson said that the way we batted in the powerplay, we fell short by a few runs, but all the other batsmen performed brilliantly. 205 runs was a good score and I was confident that it would be challenging for Punjab Kings. Our batting line-up is strong, which has young players, but they have a lot of potential.

Samson also praised the bowling department. Especially the pair of Jofra Archer and Sandeep Sharma. He said that this pair is proving to be lethal. One bowls fast while the other bowls slow. We are doing well by putting pressure on them. Both Jofra and Sandy are very brilliant.

Nehal Vadhera scored 62 runs

Samson further said that we talked to the team during the time-out. Punjab Kings had a great line-up and we cannot take any team lightly in the IPL. Every game is different and victory cannot be guaranteed until the last ball is bowled. In response, the Punjab Kings batsmen failed and only Nehal Wadhera gave hope to his team by scoring 62 runs, but his efforts ultimately proved futile. In the end, the team lost by 50 runs.
