IPL 2025: The condition of Rajasthan Royals (RR) is going very bad in IPL 2025. The team has lost 6 out of 8 matches played so far and ranks 8th in the points table. In two matches played against Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants, the team lost despite being in winning. Meanwhile, Jaideep Bihani, convenor of the Ad-Hawk Committee of Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA), has made serious allegations of match fixing on the team about the 2-run defeat from Lucknow. Now Rajasthan Royals have reacted strongly to this.
A new controversy has arisen over the Rajasthan Royals team, which is battling continuously in IPL 2025. Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) Ed-Hawk Committee convenor and BJP MLA Jaideep Bihani accused Lucknow Super Giants of match fixing, calling a two-run defeat as suspicious. The franchise has given a strong reply to this.
Denying the allegations, senior Rajasthan Royals official Deep Roy said, "These statements are completely factless, unfounded and malicious. This has not only tarnished the image of our team, but has also suffered a deep loss to the reputation of BCCI, Rajasthan Sports Council and Royal Multi Sports Private Limited."
The official statement issued by the franchise said that, "Such public comments are completely misleading and are going to harm the credibility of cricket. We dismiss these allegations outright and urge the Chief Minister, Sports Minister and Sports Secretary of the state to take strict action on this irresponsible statement."
According to the BCCI guidelines, the Sawai Mansingh Stadium (Jaipur) hosts IPL matches under the jurisdiction of Rajasthan Sports Council, while RCA is responsible for domestic and international matches. Rajasthan Royals have clarified that they along with the Sports Council work seriously to organize matches in Jaipur.
Jaideep Bihani accused the Rajasthan Sports Council of hosting the Ad-Hawk Committee formed by the state government from the IPL. He also said that the council also did not issue any official identity cards for the committee members. Bihani described the entire case as "a conspiracy against sports interests".
Rajasthan Royals are facing defeat on the ground on one side, while now facing controversies outside the field. In such a situation, this IPL season seems full of challenges for the team.
