IPL 2025: The thrill of the Indian Premier League 2025 is at its peak. Today, the 34th match of the league will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Both teams seem to be full of confidence by winning their previous matches and will aim to maintain the rhythm of victory in this match as well.

RCB's eyes on second consecutive win

Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets in their last match. The team has registered 4 wins in 6 matches played so far and is moving firmly towards the playoffs. Opener Phil Salt is in excellent form and he scored 65 runs in just 33 balls in the last match.

At the same time, Virat Kohli (62 runs) and Devdutt Padikkal (40 not out) played a key role in the team's victory. The team is looking balanced under the captaincy of Rajat Patidar and the team is ready to land with full force in front of the domestic audience.

Punjab needs stability in batting

Punjab Kings may have defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in their last match, but the team's batting was very disappointing. The entire team was reduced to 111 runs in 15.3 overs. Although the bowlers made a brilliant comeback and won the team, but the lack of flexibility in batting is clearly visible.

Captain Shreyas Iyer's form remains a matter of concern, who could not even open the account in the previous match. In today's match, Punjab can make two changes - Marcus Stoinis and Vijayakumar Vishak can be included in the playing XI. Due to this, Suryansh Shedge and Josh English may have to sit outside.

Possible playing XI:

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB): Phil Soult, Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar (Captain), Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma (wicketkeeper), Tim David, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood, Suyash Sharma, Yash Dayal

Punjab Kings (PBKS): Priyansh Arya, Prabhasimran Singh (wicketkeeper), Shreyas Iyer (Captain), Nehal Vadhera, Shashank Singh, Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell, Marco Johnson, Javier Bartlet, Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal

From RCB: Virat Kohli, Phil Sold and Bhuvneshwar Kumar

From PBKS: Arshdeep Singh, Stoinis and Prabhasimran Singh

In this match today, the thrill is expected. Will RCB be able to maintain the rhythm of its victory at home or will the Punjab Kings improve the marksheet - it will be interesting to see.
