New Delhi: In a remarkable achievement, India's Preethi Pal secured a bronze medal in the women’s 100m-T35 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024 on Sunday, marking her second podium finish at the Games. Preethi clocked a personal best time of 30.01 seconds, finishing behind China’s Xia Zhou and Qianqian Guo, who claimed gold and silver respectively.

This medal adds to Preethi’s impressive performance earlier at the Games, where she also won a bronze in the women’s 200m T35 event. Her consistent podium finishes have made her a standout athlete in her first-ever Paralympic appearance.
