New Delhi: At the Paris Olympics, wrestler Aman Sehrawat was defeated by Rei Higuchi of Japan in the mens 57kg semifinals. In the few minutes leading up to the commencement of the match, the opponent outscored the Indian wrestler 10-0 thanks to technical dominance. Aman will now compete tomorrow, Friday, for the bronze medal. The Indian mens hockey team had just won their second straight Olympic bronze medal, defeating Spain 2-1. In the quarterfinal, he defeated Zelimkhan Abakanov of Albania by a score of 12-0 thanks to his better technical skills. In the same weight class, Ravi Kumar Dahiya had taken home a silver medal from the Olympics in Tokyo.
