He was looking like a winning machine on Sunday when Novak Djokovic beat Casper Ruud to win the Roland Garros 2023. Djokovic demonstrated his exceptional skills as a player and clinched his 23rd Grand Slam men’s singles title in the French Open final against Norway’s Casper Ruud.

Taking it slow in the start, Djokovic showcased brilliance in the first-set tie-break and moved towards 7-6 (7-1), 6-3, 7-5 victory on Sunday.

36-year-old Djokovic, with this title, has now become the first man to win each of the four Grand Slam tournaments at least three times. He surpassed the GOAT Rafael Nadal to attain this order.

After the win, Djokovic expressed his gratitude and also said that it was his childhood dream to win Wimbledon once and becoming number one. And where he stands today, has been an incredible journey.
