Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra maintained his outstanding form on Friday by winning the renowned one-day meeting series in Lausanne after returning from a one-month injury layoff. This was Chopras second straight victory of the season.Due to a muscle problem, he suffered while training last month, the 25-year-old Chopra missed three major competitions. In the fourth round, he committed another foul before making his 87.66-meter winning throw. His sixth and last throw measured 84.15 metres.After winning the final round, Neeraj Chopra while talking to organisers said, “I was feeling a bit nervous coming back from an injury. It was a bit cold here tonight. I am still far from my best, but I feel it is getting better. I am relieved it´s coming together well for me.
