After Chennai Super Kings' exit from the Indian Premier League, cricket icon MS Dhoni was spotted cruising through the streets of Ranchi on his beloved Yamaha RD 350 bike. The sight of Dhoni astride his vintage machine came just a day after his return to Ranchi post-CSK's heartbreaking loss in Bengaluru. A fan captured a video of Dhoni's bike ride. The video shows Dhoni's arrival at his residence in Ranchi, where he sought solace after the tough defeat.

Passion for wheels

Dhoni's passion for bikes is no secret, with the former captain often spotted enjoying rides on Ranchi's highways. His expansive collection of bikes and cars at his Ranchi residence is a testament to his love for wheels. Earlier, former India fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad posted a video, which showed MSD's car and bike collection.

End of MSD era in IPL?

The match against RCB was potentially the final IPL appearance for Dhoni, as CSK fell short of the playoffs qualification. Despite Dhoni's valiant efforts in the last over, CSK couldn't secure the win needed to advance, ending their title defense hopes for the season. No official statement has been released from CSK team management, so far. However, media reports indicated that Dhoni has stated that he will clear his stance within a couple of months. Notably, he was playing with muscle tear, which where the doctor suggested him to take rest. Yet Dhoni opted to play. 

Dhoni skips handshakes with RCB players!

After the defeat against RCB, Dhoni's disappointment was visible as he failed to finish the game. Controversy erupted after videos went viral, where MSD can be seen leaving the ground with shaking hands with RCB players. Although he shook hands with RCB team staff, who were standing on his way back to the dressing room. Cricket pundits argued that RCB players got so involved in their celebrations that they forgot, this might be Dhoni's endgame. RCB faced backlash following the incident. 

On the other hand, CSK fans believe MSD still has fuel for one more IPL season. Whether MSD will play or not, only time can tell.
