Misano E-Prix: INDE racing teams up with ABB FIA Formula E World Championship for EV advancements

Misano E-Prix: The FIM E-Xplorer World Cup, the world's first global all-electric offroad motorcycle series, recently announced its collaboration with the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. This partnership will involve knowledge sharing and on-track activations during the 2024 Misano E-Prix.

Representatives from both series, including teams, manufacturers, partners, and senior personnel, will gather for strategic workshops at Formula E's London headquarters. These sessions will focus on sharing knowledge, learning from each other, and advancing electric vehicle (EV) technology. As platforms for pushing cutting-edge EV technology to its limits on the track, both championships will explore how race day learning can influence and improve consumer applications of electric vehicles.

INDE Racing to participate in Misano E-Prix 2024

INDE Racing, the first Indian racing team to secure a podium in the FIM global championships, will participate in this cross-learning initiative at the inaugural 2024 Misano E-Prix doubleheader on April 13-14. Alongside other teams in the E-Xplorer series, INDE Racing will conduct an off-road demonstration at the permanent Misano track. This demonstration will showcase the performance of e-bikes and motorcycle racing, adding to the weekend entertainment for fans in Italy's renowned automotive and motorsport region.

Collab is poised to change India and globally

Abhishek Reddy, CEO of INDE Racing, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing its potential to elevate Indian motor racing onto a global stage. He also highlighted the role of collaboration in advancing electric powertrain technologies and promoting sustainable racing practices.

Valentin Guyonnet, CEO of E-Xplorer said, "Collaborating with the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is something I've eagerly awaited. He added that they will aim to provide motorcycle manufacturers with a premier racing platform to advance electric powertrain technology.

JeF Dodds, CEO of Formula E, expressed excitement about bringing together minds from both championships to drive forward the development of electric technology. Moreover, he mentioned that the e-bike demonstration at the Misano E-Prix will enhance the entertainment for fans and showcase the impressive performance of EVs both on and off the track.
