‘It’s that special’: Commentator on comparing Carlos Alcaraz to Kohli, Michael Jordan

In the footage, which is from an old match between Carlos Alcaraz and Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alcaraz outmanoeuvres the Greek player with a drop shot towards the net.

Appreciating the ingenious move, the commentator says, “It’s like watching Virat Kohli in cricket or Michael Jordan.”

“Really, it’s that special,” his fellow commentator says, before adding, “So good! All you can do is smile.”

Tsitsipas – who has been ranked as high as No. 3 in the World rankings – has lost each of his five matches against Alcaraz.

His fans have taken to Twitter to post congratulatory messages for Kohli. One fan wrote, “Cricket is famous because of Virat Kohli”, while another said, “King Kohli is the face of World Cricket”.
