In an exciting turn of events, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced that Cricket will be a part of the Olympic Games in 2028 on Monday.The multination event will also include sports like baseball, flag football, lacrosse, and squash. The proposal to include these games in the 2028 Olympics was accepted at the ongoing 141st IOC session in Mumbai.Cricket at OlympicsCricket made its sole appearance at the Paris Olympics 1900 in which Great Britain defeated France in the final to clinch gold.Teams representing Belgium, France, Great Britain, and the Netherlands were scheduled to compete in the knockout tournament in the Olympics.
