In the first-ever MotoGP held in Buddh International Circuit in Noida, Pole-starter Marco Bezzecchi emerged as the winner for maiden Indian GP on Sunday.While Italian Marco Bezzecchi won first place, Spains Jorge Martin finished second and Frances Fabio Quartararo became the third to cross the finish line. The winner trophies were presented by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. I like to celebrate with the fans, I would like to give my heart to the fans. In this part of the world, they are very loud, and I really like to hear the crowd. They enjoyed it, of course and next year they will have even more fun. So, for me it was fantastic.”Marco also spoke on the stadiums tracks and said “Its a track that I liked the first time I rode on it. Overall it has been good for me. There was some hard braking, but also some fast parts and chicanes. Physically I felt better with the head, so change of direction was not a problem, like it was in Mizano. Sector three was really fantastic to ride.”Why were laps cut short in MotoGP IndiaFollowing two warm-ups from 11:10 to 11:20 a.m. (IST), the final race began at 3:30 p.m. (IST). However, the distance of the Indian GP main race at the BIC in Noida was shortened from 34 circuits to 21 laps in order to decrease stress on the riders and protect tyre life.After cyclists complained about the heat and humidity during Fridays practice sessions, the race was reduced by three laps to 21.Brad Binder of South Africa, representing Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, finished fourth. Joan Mir of Spain finished fifth, representing the Repsol Honda Team.
