Following the stunning run-chase masterminded by Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, the owner of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) threw a heated debate with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper KL Rahul outside the LSG dugout. Rahul, however, remained composed after the encounter.

Hyderabad's showdown!

Hyderabad's openers, trailing LSG's subpar 165 for 4, unleashed an almost unbelievable assault on the Lucknow bowlers, reaching the goal in just 9.4 overs and winning by a whopping 10-wicket margin. Head and Abhihsek struck 89* off just 30 balls and 75* off only 28 balls, respectively, smashing 14 sixes and 16 fours between them.

Rahul's performance

Rahul had a dismal performance as a batsman, hitting 29 off 33 balls, before showing absolutely nothing as a leader against the SRH attack. Only with the contributions of Ayush Badoni's 55* off 30 balls and Nicholas Pooran's 48* off 26 balls was LSG able to post a respectable score. Following the game, footage from the sidelines revealed Rahul and the team's owner, Goenka, having a heated argument about the result of the game.

Goenka's rage!

After losing six of their previous 12 games, the loss dropped LSG to number six in the standings, making it more difficult for the team to make the playoffs. SRH's seventh victory in 12 games saw them climb to the third spot. Commentators noted during the live broadcast of the video showing Goenka and Rahul conversing, "You always feel these conversations should always be behind closed doors." KL Rahul is not going to attend news conferences or other events and probably will not be able to explain what is being discussed there because there are so many cameras recording everything. He did a good job of maintaining his composure here."
