IPL 2024: SRH into the final! Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has secured its place in the IPL final for the third time after defeating Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 36 runs in Qualifier-2 on Friday. This marks Hyderabad's return to the finals after six years, with their last appearance in 2018. The team will now face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the final showdown on May 26.
Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Rajasthan's decision seemed justified as Boult struck early, dismissing Abhishek Sharma cheaply. Boult's three-wicket haul in the powerplay put Hyderabad on the back foot, but Klaasen's resilient innings steadied the ship. Despite the early setbacks, SRH managed to post a challenging total.
Plenty to cheer & celebrate for the @SunRisers 🥳
