Kolkata Knight Riders has reduced Sunrisers Hyderabad to 113 in the IPL final. Would you believe it? Is this the same SRH that dominated team throughout the season? Pat Cummins-led SRH has collapsed when it was needed the most.

In the highly anticipated clash, SRH's skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The decision went horribly wrong as the KKR bowlers led by Mitchell Strac ran havoc on SRH's top order.

Mighty batting order collapses

Once the formidable powerhouse of the IPL, SRH's batting lineup crumbled under the relentless pressure of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Their aspirations of a grand total were dashed as they set an unprecedented record - the lowest-ever total in the IPL Finals, a dismal 113 runs.

KKR's bowling dominance

From the outset, KKR's bowlers established their supremacy, striking early blows in the first two overs. Led by Mitchell Starc and Vaibhav Arora, they dismantled the SRH top order, leaving them in disarray.

Despite Aiden Markram's valiant efforts to steady the sinking ship, wickets continued to tumble. The relentless onslaught from KKR's pace battery, including Starc, Harshit Rana, and Andre Russell, left SRH reeling.

Cummins' last stand

With the daunting prospect of falling short of the 100-run mark looming large, SRH's skipper, Pat Cummins, waged a lone battle. His courageous innings salvaged some pride for his team, but ultimately, they succumbed to a paltry total of 113 runs, bowled out in the 19th over. KKR needs 114 runs to clinch their third IPL title.
