With this win, RR advances into Qualifier-2, where SRH is waiting for them. The match, held in Ahmedabad, witnessed a captivating showdown between the two teams.
Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Rajasthan Royals successfully restricted Royal Challengers Bangalore to a total of 172 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Chasing the target, Rajasthan showcased a remarkable batting display, achieving victory with six wickets in hand and one over to spare.
Yashasvi Jaiswal emerged as the top scorer for Rajasthan, contributing a valuable 45 runs to the team's chase. Ryan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer also made notable contributions, scoring 36 and 26 runs respectively. Meanwhile, Cameron Green, Karn Sharma, and Lockie Ferguson each claimed a wicket for RCB.

Despite the loss, RCB's Virat Kohli achieved another milestone by surpassing 8,000 runs in the IPL, solidifying his position as the league's top scorer.
