Among the notable players listed in the INR 2 crore bracket are England's exciting young batsman Harry Brook and Australia's World Cup hero Travis Head.
Despite being a single-day event compared to the two-day mega auctions, mini-auctions have witnessed some of the most expensive deals in IPL history, particularly for overseas players. Last year, Sam Curran became the most expensive player ever when he was bought by Punjab Kings for a whopping sum of INR 18.5 crore. Earlier, the 10 franchises collectively retained 173 players.
