INDW vs ENGW: Indian women's team recorded the biggest win by runs in women’s Test cricket history, beating England by 347 runs at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Saturday.
India set a 478-run target by declaring on its overnight score of 186/6. India bundled out the visitor with the help of Deepti Sharma's five-for for a mere 131 in 27.3 overs.

This win marks India’s sixth win in 39 Tests, besides 27 draws and six losses in the longest format of the game. In the women's Test, this is the second instance that a team managed two wins by a margin of 300-plus runs. India also surpassed the previous high of a 309-run win by Sri Lanka against Pakistan in 1998.

Indian women also took an overall lead of 3-1 in 15 head-to-head encounters against England.
Earlier in the innings, India won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 428 runs to record its highest first-innings score, helped by the brilliant innings by Shubha Satheesh, Jemimah Rodrigues, Yastika Bhatia and Deepti Sharma. For the first time in the history of cricket, India recorded a run rate of 4.09 in the first innings which is also the overall run rate of 4 rpo.
Harmanpreet Kaur’s side also had 614 runs combined across two innings, which is its best haul in a Test.
India will lock horns with Australia in a one-off Test at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from December 21-24.
