INDW vs AUSW: Indian women's teams secured a remarkable 8-wicket victory over Australia in the only test at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday. In pursuit of 75 run target, Shafali Verma was dismissed early in the second innings as the pair of Richa Ghosh and Smriti Mandhana steadied the ship. The pair navigated the remaining runs with composure, ensuring India crossed the finish line for a historic win.

On day 4, Australia failed to capitalise on their overnight score of 233 and witnessed their middle order collapse against the relentless Indian spinners. Sneh Rana's cunning variations proved particularly lethal, who claimed the wickets of Ellyse Perry and Tahlia McGrath. India bundled out Australia for 74 runs.

Notably, Australian women scored 219  runs on the opening day of the Test, after winning the toss. Indian batting lineup gave an impressive response as Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana at the top order, Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues in the middle order, Deepti Sharma and Pooja Vastrakar gave significant contributions taking a 187-run lead. India scored 406 runs in the first innings.

Impeccable batting display for India
