Indian Cricketer Nitish Rana Celebrates his 30th birthday today

Kolkata Knightriders Cricketer Nitish Rana turns 30 today, on December 27.

Nitish Rana was born in Delhi on 27 December 1993. The left-handed batsman and part-time offspinner currently plays for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the past he was part of IPL teams: Delhi, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians. The 30-year-old batter made his ODI debut on 23 July 2021, for India against Sri Lanka.

Celebrating Nitish Rana's Achievements

Rana debuted for Delhi in both List A and T20 during the 2012–13 season, but he didn't participate in a Ranji Trophy match until the 2015–16 season. His first-class debut season was spectacular as he hammered a total of 557 runs at 50.63, including a century and three fifties, he concluded season 16 as Delhi's leading run-getter. He also ran out Wasim Jaffer for a duck and scored a half-century on debut against Vidarbha. 

During Delhi's Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy journey to the semifinals in 2015–16, he smashed 97 off 40 deliveriess, where eight of the 21 sixes against Andhra game. Rana, who was acquired by the Mumbai Indians for INR 10 lakh in 2015, credited his big-hitting ability to his time there. In November 2018, he was chosen as Delhi's captain, taking Gautam Gambhir's place.
