India vs South Africa: In a rain-affected match, India faced defeat against South Africa at St Georges Park in Gqeberha on Tuesday. The South African openers dominated the innings while Indian bowlers pulled back the run flow by scalping some crucial wickets in the middle overs.Earlier, South African skipper Aiden Markram won the toss and invited India to bat first. India managed to post 180/7 in 19.3 overs helped by brilliant fifties from Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh. The openers failed to fire as they were dismissed for ducks. Suryakumar took charge and added a 49-run stand for the third wicket with Tilak Varma off 24 balls. Tilak was dismissed by Gerald Coetzee.
