On the other hand, Qatar will be eyeing for another win after a thumping 8-1 win over Afghanistan. India has never advanced to the third round of FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The recent win over Kuwait has lifted India's chance to achieve the feat by qualifying for the next round.
Qatar is the sixth-best team in Asia and ranked 61st in the FIFA rankings, while India is in the 99th position.
In three clashes in FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, India lost two against Qatar and managed one draw. The Blue Tigers aim to change this record in their upcoming clash on Tuesday.
