Update (September 2, 9: 54 PM): The game has been abandoned. The players shake hands as the match is officially washed out. Both teams get one point each. Pakistan is the first team to qualify into Super 4 in Asia Cup 2023.

Update (September 2, 9: 25 PM): The cut-off time for a 20-over run chase is 22:27 local time. Still around an hour to go.

Revised Target for Pakistan

Update (September 2, 9: 15 PM): Pakistan will now have a revised DLS target of 226 in 36 overs. Looks like the drizzle is back and so are the covers.

Positive signs!

Update (September 2, 8:43 PM): Positive signs. The rain seems to have eased off and covers are getting off by groundstaff.  Ground inspection at 21:00 IST time.
