The much-awaited ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 has started, and all eyes are on the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan scheduled for October 14 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

While cricket lovers display their affection for the sport in different ways, Rauf Sheikh of Ahmedabad stands out.

A jeweler from Jamalpur, Rauf Sheikh has made a mini gold World Cup trophy weighing just 0.9 grams and with a height of around just one and a half centimeters. The cricket enthusiast claimed that this unique trophy is made of 22-carat gold, and he wants to present it to the Indian men’s cricket team’s skipper, Rohit Sharma. As per the claims, this is the third time he made the mini World Cup.

Taking to ANI, Rauf Sheikh said, “In 2014, I made a World Cup trophy weighing 1.200 grams and in 2019, I broke my own record by making a 1-gram trophy. Now in 2023, I have made a trophy weighing 0.900 grams. If I get a chance during the upcoming India-Pakistan match, I will give this trophy to Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma”.
