The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India's Under-19 squad for the upcoming U-19 Asia Cup 2023 on Saturday. The tournament is set to be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The top cricket governing body issued a media release, which said, "The Junior Cricket Committee has picked India’s U19 squad for the upcoming ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2023 to be played in the UAE. Defending champions India are also the most successful side in the tournament having won the trophy eight times".
Furthermore, the media release added, "India’s U19 squad will consist of 15 members and three traveling standby players. The selection committee has also named four additional reserve players. The reserve players will not be part of the touring contingent."

The Asia Cup will kickstart on December 8 with 'Men in Blue' taking on Afghanistan in its opening game with the final being played on December 17. India will take on the arch-rivals Pakistan on December 10.
