After the executive board meeting of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Mumbai on Thursday. The meeting was held at the Jio World Convention Centre.The IOC President Thomas Bach said that the Indian teams performance is improving and one can understand that after seeing the performance at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou.IOC President praises Indian contingentAfter the meeting concluded, Thomas Bach praised the Indian squad for winning their highest number of medals, so far at the Asian Games.Bach said during the media briefing,”We could see and realize the Olympics spirit here in India. The country is growing and we are seeing very positive results from the Indian team at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, a record number of medals they have won which is very encouraging.
