IND vs ZIM: India is locking horns with Zimbabwe in the third T20I of five-match series at Harare Sports Club. India won the previous encounter while, Zimbabwe managed to win against star-studded India. On Wednesday, India won the toss and opted to bat first at Harare. With Indian skipper Shubman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad's brilliant innings, India posted 182 runs on the board. 

As it happened

Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal proved the toss call correct as the openers stitched 67-run partnership for the first wicket. Zimbabwe bowlers failed to make an impact again and couldn't get any wickets in the powerplay. Sikandar Raza provided the much-needed breakthrough to his side by dismissing left-handed batter Yashasvi Jaiswal in the ninth over. He scored 36 runs including 4 boundaries and 2 sixes.

Ruturaj Gaikwad takes charge

Sikandar Raza struck again in his next over and caught big fish in his trap. He dismissed the centurion of the previous match, Abhishek Sharma on 10. After his dismissal, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill steadied the ship. Indian skipper went on to hammer his second T20I fifty. His inning was cut short by Blessing Muzarabani. He scored 66 off 49 deliveries.   

After the dismissal of the Indian skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad took charge and played a fiery knock. However, he fell short of his much-deserved half-century. He scored 49 off 28 deliveries including 4 boundaries and 3 maximums. 

Blessing Muzarabani and Sikandar Raza claimed two wickets each.
