IND vs ENG: Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc on the England batters on Day 2 the second Test at ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The ace Indian pacer completed 150 Test scalps and then completed six-wicket haul to put India in a commanding position. Stokes' men were bowled out for 253 after brilliant bowling performance from Indian bowlers. At the time of stumps, India had scored 28/0 in 5 overs on Day 2. 

On Day 2, India continued the overnight score of 336/6 and eventually bowled out for 396. Yashasvi Jaiswal hammered double hundred. making him the third youngest Indian to achieve this feat in Test cricket. The sensational left-hand batter achieved this feat at the age of 24. The record for the youngest Indian to score a double century is held by Vinod Kambli, who accomplished this frat against England at the age of 21 years in 1993.

Jaiswal hammers double ton

Resuming his overnight score at 179, Jaiswal showcased resilience and determination. Partnering with batter Ravichandran Ashwin (20), Jaiswal added a crucial run for the team. His blitzing knock includes 19 boundaries and 7 maximums before being dismissed by James Anderson. The trio of Rehan Ahmed, Shoaib Bashir, and James Anderson scalped three wickets each.

India takes lead on Day 2

After bundling out India, England had got off to a good start as the opening pair of Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett scored runs at a brisk rate but the hosts have turned the tables in the second session. Kuldeep Yadav ended a dangerous-looking opening stand by dismissing the latter. Crawley then started hitting boundaries for fun and went on to complete his fifty. Axar Patel ended his stay on 76 off just 78 deliveries. 

The ace speedster, Jasprit Bumrah then took over and dismissed Joe Root for the eighth time in his career.  He also cleaned up Ollie Pope with a vicious reverse-swinging yorker. Notably, Pope had scored 196 in his last innings. In the last session, Bumrah went on to dismiss Bairstow, and then chinamen spinner Kuldeep got into the act with two more wickets to sink the English ship. India took 143 runs in the first innings and added 28 runs more during the second innings.

England 1st innings: 253/10 in 55.5 Overs (Zak Crawley 76, Ben Stokes 47; Jasprit Bumrah 6/45)
