IND vs AUS: In 51st Match of T20 World Cup, Australian skipper Mitchell Marsh won the toss and opted to bowl first against India in do or die clash. The clash between India and Australia is always highly anticipated, but the Super 8 group stage unexpectedly heightened the pressure on one of the teams. Australia's recent loss to Afghanistan has placed them in a precarious position, and their situation could worsen if they fail to defeat India today. 

How rain will imapct the outcomes?

However, the threat isn't solely from Rohit Sharma and his team. St. Lucia experienced heavy rain the day before the match, with more expected during the game itself. A defeat or a washout would leave Australia with either two or three points in the Super 8 standings. 

What if Afghanistan wins?

In such a scenario, if Afghanistan wins their upcoming match against Bangladesh starting at 6 AM IST, they would advance while Australia would be eliminated. 

Australia, the current holders of the World Test Championship and ODI World Cup titles, are aiming to achieve a historic feat by holding world titles in all three formats simultaneously.
