IND vs AFG: Rashid Khan, Afghanistan's spin wizard, has made a return to the squad for the upcoming T20I series against India, which will kickstart on January 11 in Mohali. However, a cloud of uncertainty hangs over his availability as he continues to recover from back surgery.

In Khan's absence, Ibrahim Zadran will lead the Afghan team who recently led Afghanistan to a 2-1 T20I series victory over the UAE. Ikram Alikhil was part of the reserves for the UAE series and is making a comeback as the wicketkeeper. Another notable inclusion is Mujeeb Ur Rahman, who missed the UAE T20Is. The young spinner will be eager to prove his mettle against a formidable Indian batting line-up.
