The ongoing ODI World Cup has seen ten centuies in eight matches which affected the change in MRF Tyers ICC Men’s ODI Batting Rankings.

Quinton De Kock ranked sixth

South Africa’s left-handed batter Quinton De Kock’s blazing ton against Sri Lanka in the ODI World Cup has lifted him one spot higher to sixth in the batting rankings, as this is De Kock’s last ODI tournament before retiring from the format.

King Kohli holds seventh spot

India’s star batter Virat Kohli is just behind the South African wicketkeeper-batter De Kock grabbing the seventh position after a stupendous match-winning knock against Australia in the opening clash of the ODI World Cup at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai which propelled him two places higher in the rankings.

Dawid Malan Storms in Top 10

England’s left-handed opener Dawid Malan made a bigger jump after his massive 140-run knock against Bangladesh, which helped him gain seven places to jump into eighth position in the current batting rankings.

Dawid Malan has also reached the career-best rating of 711 and is just four points behind Kohli and six points ahead of Pakistan’s opener Imam-ul-Haq who has dropped three positions to ninth.

Big gains for KL Rahul

India wicketkeeper batter KL Rahul also jumped 15 spots and grabbed the 19th position after the 97-run knock against the Aussies in the ODI World Cup. Meanwhile, South Africa star batter Aiden Markram has jumped 11 spots to the 21st position after his hundred against Sri Lanka in the high-scoring game in the Cricket World Cup.
