Former Pakistani cricketer Ramiz Raja, known for his cricketing roles both on and off the field, has recently showcased his musical talents in a viral video circulating on social media platforms.

The 60-year-old, who has donned various hats in cricket as a player, captain, and even as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, displayed a different side of his personality in the video. In the clip, Ramiz can be seen humming along with Sri Lankan singer-songwriter Yohani to the popular Bollywood song ‘Manhari Sukumari’.

‘Manhari Sukumari’, otherwise known as ‘Manike’, is the Bollywood rendition of the Sinhala-language super-hit song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’. It was a part of the Bollywood film ‘Thank God’, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Nora Fatehi.

Ex-Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja wishes Kishore Kumar on birth anniversary

Ramiz Raja is known for his love for music, as he took to Twitter on Friday to wish the late Kishore Kumar on his birth anniversary. “Kishore Kumar. Transcending boundaries, The King lives on in our lives! His honey voice is unmatchable!” Raja wrote on his Twitter handle.

In his cricketing career, Ramiz Raja was a key member of Pakistan’s 1992 World Cup-winning team led by captain Imran Khan. He has played in 57 Test matches and 198 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) for Pakistan, accumulating 2833 runs in Test matches and 5841 runs in ODIs as an opening batsman.

Raja has also had a distinguished career as a cricket commentator. He is a member of the commentary teams in all of Pakistan’s international matches, as well as other international games and the Indian Premier League (IPL).
